Mother’s Day is quickly approaching and we’d like to say thank you to all of the moms out there who double as teachers, chefs, doctors, personal stylists, playmates and especially chauffeurs. For all the moms that are out there behind the wheel, we see you and we appreciate you.

To the moms who prioritize their childrens’ schedules over their own,

To the moms who listen to their children’s favorite songs on the car radio repeatedly,

To the moms who always made sure we were buckled in tight,

To the moms who drove the roads back and forth from school to ball practice and back again,

To the moms who organized the carpool for away games and drove for hours to watch us do what we loved,

To the moms who always had a stash of snacks hidden somewhere in the car (and napkins for when things got messy),

To the moms who always knew when to look in her rearview mirror,

To the moms who dropped their kids off for playdates and returned a few hours later for pickup,

To the moms who bravely taught us how to drive,

To the moms who were always up for a road trip,

To the moms who never said no to a drive-thru,

To the moms who handed over her keys when we wanted to hang out with friends on a Friday night,

To the moms who slipped us a twenty for gas when money was tight,

To the moms who weren’t afraid to drive with the windows down,
To the moms who had hard conversations in the car,

To the moms who loaded up their cars when it was time for college move in,

To the moms who would pick us up at the drop of a hat,

To the moms who drove us to be better people,

To the moms who inspire the drive in us,

To the moms who got us where we are today,

Thank you.
